After this, Steve fell for Kathy, who ignited the atmosphere of the party and everybody began to dance. Kenny G plays a saxophone solo on the roof while Hanson act as the house band.

The party shifted to Kathy's house and finally ended. The video switches to the present scene and shows Everett makes breakfast for Kathy. Corey Feldman and Debbie Gibson play as Kathy's parents at the end of the music video.

Since then, I have been waiting for the band's new song. Personally, I like the song. MTV.com reviews that song as a "caffeinated new single" - very special and cute. Well, I'm not a professional music critic; I'm just a music fans. From my own perspective, the tune and lyrics of "Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall" seems to telling that a person is tired from work or daily activities at a dusk; he returns to his house, turns up his favorite music, lays in a couch, immerses himself in the music and keeps the world outside. He just needs a rest. He may run into some troubles but still loves this world, loves the new generation and his life. He has his own "heaven", "cathedrals" and "flag" in his heart, which makes him face his life and stick to it.

That's my own understanding of the song. Maybe it's not right. Actually I don't know the meaning of the song title "Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall". I've found a seemingly good explanation to the song from Yahoo Answer; hope it inspires you: It's about a person who lost a loved one (maybe in a crash) and he spends his time listening to his favorite music to remember these person and forget about the pain. And the song tries to tell that a tear is not enough to express all the pain you re feeling.

A lot of people think that "Smile" is better than "What the Hell" - lead single in the same album. Do you agree with it? In terms of charts, "What the Hell" peaks at the No.11 at the Billboard Hot 100, while "Smile" has never charted on the chart.

Okay, back the the "Smile" music video. The video can be logically divided into two parts: Avril inside the white room and outside the room. Inside the white room, the wall was sprayed with graffiti and decorated with some posters; Avril is seen singing and playing a red electronic guitar. She wear green shoes and yellow pattern T-shirt. Her hair is partly green. The scenes are colorful. Then Lavigne walks outside the room; the scenes all turn to black and white; she walk through some unhappy people, pick up pieces of red glasses representing "broken hearts" from them, and put the fragments together to make a heart. Those people become happay and have smile on their faces.

I like the theme of the music video. It's lovely and sweet. The song is great, too - lively, stylish and catchy. I can't stop hitting the Replay button of the video. Looking forward to the rest singles in the "Goodbye Lullaby" album and its debut.

Last Octerber, Taylor Swift released her third studio album 'Speak Now'. The album was very successful as it debuted with the year's biggest sales at 1.04 million. The song I'm going to introduce today is just from this album; it's 'Mean'. Last week, music video of 'Mean' was released. Both the song and the music video have received mainly positive reviews. Lots of fans think that it's the best video of hers since 'You Belong with Me'.

Just as Billboard's review to the video, it 'encourages bully victims'. There are several bully victims in the video: Swift herself tied to the tracks by a villain, the boy reading a fashion magazine bullied by the football team in a locker room, the girl with a fast-food uniform bullied by a group of high schoolers, and the girl forced to eat in the school bathroom. In the end, all the bullied victims become 'big enough' and not be bullied any more.

I appreciate the theme of the video. It encourages people who are being bullied or discriminated that: don't give up, just hold up, as you're right and you will be successful in the end.
