Lady Gaga Official YouTube Channel Suspended

Lady Gaga's official YouTube channel was suspended hours ago. Gaga has two accounts on YouTube. Except the official channel, she also has her VEVO channel, which has 1.6 billion views and is still available. The removed account, "ladygagaofficial", has 149,010,799 views.

People who visited the channel will get this message: " This account has been suspended due to multiple or severe violations of YouTube's Copyright Policy." YouTube declined to elaborate on the account suspension event.

According to a statement from Time Out Tokyo, Gaga's official YouTube account was suspended because "she posted footage from her recent appearance on the Fuji TV show SMAP x SMAP. The ten-minute performance featured a medley of songs from her new album, Born This Way, laced with Japan-themed ad libs". A Japanese firm titled "Media Interactive Inc." sent the copyright-infringement claim to YouTube and was responsible for the account suspension.

According to YouTube's policy, suspended account can be restored after the copyright-infringement content is removed. So I think Gaga's official YouTube account will be restored sson.

Lady Gaga is one of the most popular artists on YouTube. Gaga was the first person reaching 1 billion views milestone on YouTube's history. Having 1.6 billion views, her videos are the second most-viewed videos on YouTube. Artist who has the most-viewed videos on YouTube is Justin Bieber, having totally 1.7 billion views to date.

Transformers 3 Scenes Sample from Michael Bay's Film The Island

Director Michael Bay's Transformers 3 (Transformers: Dark of the Moon) just premiered last week on June 29 in United States. The film has earned $97.5 million during its first weekend, topping the weekend box office and setting a new Fourth of July box-office record.

However, some footage of Transformers 3 are found in Michael Bay's 2005 action film "The Island". YouTube user Cinefilo found this and made a short video comparing the similar scenes of the two films. The video was uploaded to YouTube on June 30 and has quickly become viral on the Internet. This is the video (download it with Leawo Free YouTube Downloader):

It's too obvious that Michael Bay has reused footage from The Island to Transformers 3. From the video, we can see that mainly two scenes of Dark of the Moon sample from The Island.

Scene 1: the truck (on the left) and the smashed car (on the right)
Transformers 3 samples The Island scene 1

Scene 2: the rolling car and the smoke
Transformers 3 samples The Island scene 2

Personally, I don't mind if Michael Bay samples a few scenes from his own film. Anyway, it's a good way to save time and money on filming a new scene. After all, Transformer: Dark of the Moon is a good film that has received generally negative reviews, which praising the film's excellent 3D visual effects.

Rebecca Black's Friday Music Video Removed from YouTube

Rebecca Black
It's Thursday today and tomorrow will be Friday. But this Friday we might not able to see Rebecca Black's viral music video "Friday", as the YouTube sensation was removed from the site a few hours ago. From now on, we might not be able to hear Black singing "fun, fun, fun, fun" bringing us the happy Friday on the site. What a shame!

Previously, Rebecca Black's Friday official music video was here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CD2LRROpph0. But now you open the page and get the message on the YouTube video player "'Rebecca Black – Fri…' This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by Rebecca Black. Sorry about that."

Rebecca Black's "Friday" music video has drawn over 167 million views before its removal from YouTube. (how to download) The 14-year-old singer just signed a copyright claim and then the video was gone. This video's removal is due to the dispute between Black's family and Ark Music Factory that who own the copyright to the video. Earlier this week, ARK Music Factory, who produced the video and ran the YouTube account that hosted the video, set the video up as a $2.99 YouTube rental. Black's family got angry about this and submitted a takedown notice of the video to YouTube. After that, the video disappeared from YouTube.

According to Wikipedia:
The ownership of "Friday" is unclear. In a March 29, 2011 letter from Kelly's (Black's mother) lawyer to Ark Music, she alleged that Ark Music failed to fulfill the terms of their November 2010 agreement by not giving her the song and video's master recordings; falsely claimed Black as exclusively signed to the label; and exploited the song without permission by, for example, selling a "Friday" ringtone. While Wilson stated that Kelly "will get the masters and the song. They can have it all" and agreed that Black was not exclusive to Ark, his attorney claimed that Ark owns the copyright for the song and the November agreement is invalid.

Just as ChipChick said:"The commercial is quite brilliant and pretty much a win-win for both Gaga and Google, since it helps Gaga promote her upcoming Edge of Glory single as well as Google Chrome to all of Gaga's fans."

It took Gaga and Google 10 days to shoot the video ad (from May 8th to May 18th). Let's As Gaga's The Edge of Glory begins, the video shows that Gaga contacts her fans with Google's owned developed web browse – Chrome and tells the little monsters:"listen up, little monsters!". Then Gaga is seen running on a bridge. In fact, the bridge is Brooklyn Bridge in New York City. The video continues with Gaga's fans' own-made covers of The Edge of Glory. Nick Pitera One Man Disney Movie Medley Music Video Skyrockets on YouTube

Nick Pitera - One Man Disney Movie screengrab
YouTube popular singer and Pixar employee Nick Pitera hits YouTube again with his newly released Disney medley music video 'One Man Disney Movie'. I would say the video is a work of genius. He sings a number of classic Disney song. Each song contains a Heroine, Hero, Villain, Sidekick, and Chorus, and Nick voices all of them. Accordingly, the video is divided into six boxes which allows the different Disney archetypes - all played by Pitera - to react to each other's different songs.

Here is the video and you could download "One Man Disney Movie" Nick Pitera Disney Medley Music Video from YouTube with Leawo Video Accelerator. You could also get the music from the video as shown in this guide.

Early in 2007, Nick Pitera had already been known on YouTube for his cover of Disnay song 'A Whole New World', which has been played 22 million times by the viewers. In that video, he sang both the male and female vocal parts of 'A Whole New World'. This time, he sings all the parts of Disney classic songs, including Belle from Beauty, the Beast, Aladdin, Be Prepared and The Lion King.

This is a new and brilliant form for music mashup. The video is also very well-edited, with excellent interactions between his various "characters" as he sings. It's the most creative video I've seen this year on YouTube. I hope you enjoy it, too.

Slow Loris with Tiny Umbrella Becomes New Favorite Internet Video

A video showing a bleary-eyed slow loris with a tiny umbrella now goes viral on YouTube and the Internet. You could use Leawo Free YouTube Downloader to download the video to your computer for sharing it with your friends.

The slow loris looks very cute in the video. Tamely sitting on a man's hand, the cute creature holds a tiny umbrella with its small 'hand' for about twenty seconds. It's the most adorable animal you may have seen these days.

However, a lot of people think that it's a sad video.

YouTube user 'elusis' commented the video that 'loris are endangered species. They are nocturnal - the light hurts their eyes. They usually have their sharpest teeth removed without anesthesia. They should not be kept as pets'.

Another YouTube user 'Deadflyte' commented that 'At all you people saying hes happy you are very ignorant, Slow loris are nocturnal and hide from the light because it hurts there eyes badly, Notice he is almost always squinting or has his eyes shut , this is animal abuse...'

Well, I agree with the above two YouTube users and hope that people should set the loris free and let them be back to the jungle and forest – their home.

YouTube to Stream NBA Live Games

YouTube to Stream NBA Live Games
Google owned company YouTube signaled ongoing talks with NBA (National Basketball Association) and NHL (National Hockey League) to stream the live games. If the negotiation is successful, it will bring YouTube more advertising revenue.

Gautam Anand, Google's director of content partnerships for Asia Pacific, said that YouTube is shedulded to broadcast more live games in the second half of the year. But he declined to disclose more content about the negotiation.

Anand also said that Last year, YouTube broadcasted live cricket games of Indian Premier League, racking up 55 million unique visitors from more than 250 countries, and shared advertising revenue from matches videos and league's website. During the broadcast, online users spent average 40 minutes on watching each match. Hunter Walk, director of product management of YouTube, said that YouTube needs to do more to keep its users stay on the site for longer than the average daily 15-minutes session, compared with the multiple hours consumers spend in front of televisions.

"It's fair to say that there will be a lot more appealing sports content you'll see on YouTube," Anand said. "We have ongoing conversations with pretty much everyone."

Besides Sports game, YouTube is also prepared to provide more live music video clips, such as concerts, Anand said. Shishir Mehrotra, director of product management at YouTube, said that video advertisements on YouTube videos are hit 3 billion times a week, a 50 percent increase from May.
